Future Learning School Ltd supports students through online tutoring masterclasses, recordings, practice resources, and exam-technique guidance.
Many students may be under 18, so safeguarding and online safety are central to how we operate.
This policy explains the standards expected from students, parents, guardians, tutors, and Future Learning School Ltd.
1. Our commitment
Future Learning School Ltd is committed to providing a safe, respectful, and appropriate online learning environment.
We aim to:
- Put student wellbeing first
- Maintain professional boundaries between tutors and students
- Use appropriate online learning tools and communication channels
- Respond promptly to safeguarding or online safety concerns
- Encourage parents and guardians to stay involved in their childā€™s learning
2. Parent and guardian involvement
Where a student is under 18, a parent or guardian should manage the membership, account access, and communication with Future Learning School Ltd.
Parents and guardians are encouraged to:
- Know when live sessions take place
- Ensure students join from an appropriate location
- Support appropriate behaviour during online learning
- Contact us if they have any concern about safety, behaviour, or communication
3. Student expectations
Students must behave respectfully during live sessions, chat, comments, messages, or any other learning activity.
Students must not:
- Use abusive, discriminatory, sexual, threatening, or inappropriate language
- Share personal contact details in live sessions or chats
- Record or distribute sessions without permission
- Harass, bully, or intimidate another student, tutor, or staff member
- Share login details with anyone else
- Upload or send inappropriate content
Students who behave inappropriately may be removed from sessions or have access suspended.
4. Tutor and staff expectations
Tutors and staff should maintain professional standards at all times.
Tutors and staff must:
- Communicate with students through approved Future Learning School channels
- Maintain appropriate professional boundaries
- Avoid private personal communication with students outside approved learning systems
- Report safeguarding or online safety concerns promptly
- Deliver sessions in a professional and respectful way
5. Live online sessions
Live sessions should be focused on learning and exam preparation.
Students should join from an appropriate environment and use their account responsibly. Cameras, microphones, chat, and participation tools should be used appropriately and only where needed for learning.
Future Learning School Ltd may moderate sessions, remove inappropriate messages, restrict participation, or remove a student from a live session if needed to protect the learning environment.
6. Recordings
Some sessions may be recorded for educational access and catch-up purposes.
Recordings are for member use only and must not be copied, shared, downloaded, published, or distributed without permission.
Where recordings are used, Future Learning School Ltd will aim to manage them appropriately and in line with privacy and safeguarding expectations.
7. Reporting a concern
If a student, parent, guardian, tutor, or staff member has a safeguarding or online safety concern, they should contact Future Learning School Ltd using the site support email as soon as possible.
If a child is in immediate danger or there is an emergency, contact the appropriate emergency services in your location.
8. Responding to concerns
When a concern is raised, Future Learning School Ltd will review the information and take appropriate action. This may include contacting a parent or guardian, restricting access, removing content, suspending a member, or seeking advice from relevant authorities or professionals where appropriate.
